Bio ~ John Broadhead was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa. A husband of 14 years, and father of two beautiful children, he is a full time professional photographer in Naples, Fl specializing in family beach portraits, wedding and event photography.
He is not your average photographer. He began shooting at a semiprofessional level for 3 years before seeking out professional mentor-ship and training.
Now, 9 years in, this has given him an "outside the box" perspective on composure, lighting, exposure and post editing. Although now professionally trained,
his images and style continue to be unique to himself, providing a distinctly beautiful, and often candid look at the world as he sees it.
John's work has received multiple awards throughout the years, including an "Award of Excellence" from the world class Rauschenberg Gallery for his HDR shot titled "Old Skool".
His work has been printed in a number of publications including the front cover of the latest "Composition 101" textbook from McGraw Hill Publishing, one of the world's leading publishers.
John prides himself on being very easy and fun to work with, and truly enjoys working with the most difficult clients that claim to despise being in front of the lens.
He says "I know how it is. I hate the other side of the lens too! Getting clients to relax is the most important part of capturing the great shots.
I will banter with the best of them, and before you know it, they are having a great time and I just made a few more lifelong friends, not just clients"
